Two whirlwind Weekend Show to share with you:
Labor Day Weekend Show at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth: What a day! There was a soft breeze sailing in from the shore as we set up our tent. (Thank you Judy) The weather was simply perfect. This was the 42nd anniversary for the Engine 1 Labor Day Art Show and the 1rst year for accepting crafts and wares into the collection. Great day, great people and a good crowd. I will definitely be keeping this as one of my regular events for sure!
Picnic Music and Arts Festival: Shared a space with my friends, Lea Cyr and Deb Freedman. We had a prime location on Pearl Street. The Picnic Festival took place at Lincoln Park at the intersection of Congress St and Franklin Art in Portland. The clouds moved in pretty quickly and we were very glad that we had shielded the sides of our booths by the time 1pm rolled around and the skies opened up. It was a fun event and lots of interested buyers. The rain wasn't a plus, but I know next year will be even better. Looks like they will be investing in a holiday show this December, so stay posted!
